Core Courses
The Core Courses aim at strengthening candidates’ foundation knowledge in medical science and are structured for them to acquire essential skills, such as biostatistics, epidemiology, laboratory methods and bioinformatics, for the conduct of various types of research in medical science. A total of 18-24 credits are required.
Specialised Courses
The Specialised Courses provide candidates with opportunities to obtain in-depth knowledge in a particular discipline which enables them to engage effectively in research or evidence-based practice. A total of 18-24 credits are required.
Capstone Experience
The capstone experience offers a valuable opportunity for students to apply the skills and knowledge gained throughout the programme in a self-directed project under the supervision of a faculty member. A total of 27 credits are required.
